Raney will host a book signing and presentation March 7 at 2 p.m. at the Pine Village Wellness Center.
MOUNDRIDGE – Deborah Raney, well known Christian fiction writer, will be at the Pine Village Wellness Center on Thursday, March 7 at 2 p.m. Raney will present a short program on her life’s journey and also sign books.
Raney’s first novel “A Vow to Cherish” is about the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on a family. The book was made into a movie by the same name. Since then she has written 26 novels and recently has been contracted to write a new five book series for Abingdon Press Fiction. Raney’s books have won a multitude of book wards.
The book signing was arranged by Sheryl Miller, Pine Village volunteer librarian.
“I want the library at Pine Village to be more than just a place to house books. I want people experiencing learning,” said Miller.
All of Raney’s 26 books will be available for purchase, as Faith and Life Bookstore from Newton will be on location. People can purchase books for themselves or buy books for the library. Miller would like to have Raney’s entire book collection available at the library. There will be a coffee bar with various coffees to sample while you browse.
