Hesston's players know what to expect when they take the field Friday against Nickerson — a heavy dose of Peyton Kuhns, the 195-pound running back who bulldozed his way to 202 yards against the Swathers last season.

"This is not a you know a normal scheduled homecoming game," head coach Tyson Bauerle said. He noted that teams typically scheduled homecoming around a weaker opponent.

"They're looking pretty darn salty right now," he said about the 2-1 Panthers. "They've got length and they've got athleticism and they play hard."
